Genaya, Inc. is committed to making its websites and applications accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across genaya.com, app.genaya.com, and our other public surfaces, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering practice rather than a one-time project.
1Measures we take
Accessibility practices built into our products include:
- Keyboard operability: interactive elements, including custom dropdowns, toggles, and dialogs, are designed to be usable with a keyboard, with visible focus states.
- Screen reader support: semantic structure, labeled form fields, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and ARIA attributes on custom components.
- Color and contrast: a token-based color system designed for sufficient contrast in both light and dark themes, so text remains readable in either mode.
- Reduced motion: animations respect the operating system's "reduce motion" preference, and moving content pauses or simplifies for users who opt out of motion.
- Responsive design: layouts adapt across desktop, tablet, and phone, so content remains usable at high zoom levels and on small screens.
- Clear feedback: forms provide visible, described error states rather than color-only signals.
- Ongoing review: we audit pages with automated tooling (such as Lighthouse) and manual checks as part of building new features, and we hold new pages to an accessibility bar before launch.
2Compatibility
Our web surfaces are built to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, together with the platform screen readers and OS accessibility settings. Our mobile apps use the platform accessibility APIs, including labels for controls and support for system text and motion preferences.
3Third-party content
Some content and features rely on third-party providers (for example embedded payment verification flows or content organizations publish through Genaya, such as their booking pages, forms, and review pages). We encourage third parties and our customers to provide accessible content, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content we do not control.
4Known limitations and ongoing work
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Services may not yet be fully accessible - for example complex interactive surfaces like drag-and-drop scheduling or live call dashboards, which we continue to improve with accessible alternatives. Accessibility is reviewed continuously, and issues that are reported to us are triaged and prioritized like functional defects.
5Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any Genaya surface, or need assistance with any part of the Services, contact us at help@genaya.com with the subject "Accessibility". Please describe the page, the assistive technology you were using, and the problem you experienced. We read every report, aim to respond promptly, and use your feedback to fix barriers.
